Loving the messy ponytail

Hello everyone! Last week i was having a little bit of a hair tantrum and was hating every single thing about my hair and literally felt like ripping it off of my head. I said in one of my last posts that i had dyed it twos with the Jerome Russle highlighting kit and when i first did it i loved it but the second time i did it (about 3-4 weeks ago), it made my root look black and my hair looked like it was greasy constantly, even after washing it. I though stuff this im going to dye it again. So during my mini hair tantrum i picked up the Nice 'n' Easy hair dye and i can't remember the colour of it but it was just a light brown ashy colour. I put it on and did on the things and it made me feel sosoooo much better, my sister said she couldn't tell except my root was lighter   so I was really happy. (sorry about the babbling but im quite chatty today).

Anywho, I have been loving wearing my hair in this high but loose messy ponytail with bits hanging down at the front. its soso easy to just throw my hair up in the morning and not have to mess about. It's great for those days were its just not going right I think yes i know what to do, Ill throw it in a pony!

Hope your all doing well, thank you for commenting and following, i appreciate it all!

The big bun...

Hello everyone, this is going to be a quite short post but I wanted to show you have I have been wearing my hair recently. Since dying my hair lighter (I used the jerome russell Highlighting kit) I have found it looks really greasy but it's not and I'v just wanted it off my face. All i do is through it into a high pony tail on the top of my head and curl small sections of my pony tail around my finger while pinning it underneath (I hope that makes sense) and when all of it is pinned up pulling some short bits out the front and having a spritz of hair spray.

James Brown Products

James Brown with Kate Moss

Vogue Cover shot by Corinne Day and styled by James Brown

James brown is a London hair stylist who has his own range of products what are available to by from boots. He has worked with many famous people and his first Vogue cover was on Kate Moss in 1994. He has Alison done a program in 2011 called "Great British Hairdresser" which a lot of people will recognize him from.

I have tried quite a lot of his products, i first tried his products when my sister bought me a set for christmas and loved them all, this was his first range which is called 'James Brown London.' I am now trying his newest range which is called 'Photo Favulase' and I'm also loving this. It doesn't smell as nice but it dose give my hair more volume than normal and still makes it nice and soft, i have also treed the hairspray and mouse which do smell more and it a nice smell, i found the mousse was a little to tacky but the hairspray is great and you only need a really small amount of it for it to hold what you want.

The first photos are the products i bought in a set from Boots at Christmas time, I think it cost about £20 and i was really happy what i got, i like all of the products (not so much the mousse) i  was looking for some large rollers at the time anyway but i think they would be the same as any others. The shampoo and conditioner are just great like i said they leave your hair lovely and soft though with more volume. and the hairspray goes an awful long way and last the full day. I am also loving the wet bag, great to take to the shower.

The prices range from about £6.00 to about £9.00 but personally I i think that is a reasonable price for a good hair product.
