The perfect brow

Here I am showing you how I fill in my eyebrows. I still like them to look quite natural so I use a colour that I know is going to suit my skin tone and isn't to different from my natural hair colour.
I usually tweeze my own eyebrows instead of going to a place to get them done, but in the past I have had them waxed and threaded. I do think that threading eyebrows is the beast way to get a perfect shape and to get it so defined though I just trust my self more to do them myself and I always know how I want them to be.

First I brush through my brow with a clean mascara wand/eyebrow brush so they're all sitting in the correct direction.
Then I like to draw I little bit of a stencil but drawing my first like diagonal and making the front of the brow a little bit square.
I then go on to fill in the gap between the lines, leaving the end of the eyebrow.
Now make the arch up of the brow and fill in the end of the brow making it look tapered so it goes thinner.
Then I like to used a little bit of concealer or foundation and draw a line under the brow cleaning it up and making sure the line is really sharp and neat.
Once you've done that just blend in the foundation into you skin.

Walah your perfect brow!

Pretty pink 'n' pink Nails

I did this picture just to show how to do the reinforcements because i didnt know how to explain it in writing but my nails have on them here- OPI, flower-to-flower and over it Barry M, limited addition silver glitter.

Hello everyone, so i saw this nail art on Lauren Conrad's Blog so thought I'd try it out for myself and see how it looked. I deiced it looked great but because the polish was so thick towards the end it took sosoo long to dry, infect i don't think it dried completely through for about the full day. I think if the look was done with better quality nail polish and a good quick drying top coat it would be great, especially for summer!

So on to how to do:
First, protect your nails with a base coat, I used-Sally Hansen, Double Duty base& top coat.
Then you need to paint your whole nail a bright or dark pink (doesn't have to be pink but thats what I used, great color for summer) and I used the color-OPI, You're a Pisa work.
Now you need to stick two reinforcements together (like shown in picture) and stick them a third way down your nail. Paint the part of the nail that is showing above your reinforcements  a slightly lighter  shade of the color you chose I chose-Barry M, Pink Filming. Leave it to dry.
Again you need to stick the reinforcements half way down your nail After you have done this you should paint your nails another lighter shade and I used more of a peachy shade again from Barry M, shade 'Melba'.

This is how you can acheive this look, i think its a great idea, I use the reinforcements for college work but i always have about 300 (you get about 500 in a pack for around 90p) left so its a good way to use them all up!

Christmas nail art!

These are my nails which i painted today. I think they are nice and christmasy
to get into the spirit :)

How to do them:
  • Paint all your fingers with a red manicure tip.
  • paint over the full nail with a glitter nail polish.
  • on your ring finger paint three lines which all cross over each other
  • put dots at the end of all the lines using a dotting tool
  • then below those dots put another set of dots (closer to the centre of the lines)
  • put  a small silver gem in the middle
  • and finally coat with the same glitter polish

Hope you like this guys, merry Christmas, hope you all have a great time this year! :)
Much love Serena xxx
